Dr. Nima Javan
General & Children Dentist
Dr. Nima Javan received his doctorate from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. At Kids Dental Castle & Orthodontics, he provides preventive, restorative, emergency, and comprehensive dental care for infants, children, teens, and patients with special healthcare needs. When appropriate, he coordinates treatment with the practice’s orthodontic, oral surgery, and dental anesthesia teams.
Dr. Javan has years of experience treating children and young adults, including those with special healthcare needs. He truly cares about children and takes the time to get to know every youngster he treats. This personal relationship allows him to tailor his care to kids and ensure that every dental visit is comfortable and enjoyable.
Dr. Javan aims to promote a collaborative environment that connects the dentist, parent, and child to create a relationship that lasts long after their appointment.
A fun fact about Dr. Javan: before becoming a dentist, he was a veterinarian. He loves kids and animals, so if your kid's pet also needs cleaning or treatment, let him know.
Dr. Lyndon Tran
Board Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Tran is an orthodontist with a passion for creating beautiful smiles. With expertise in clear aligner therapy and braces, he is dedicated to providing effective and personalized orthodontic care to patients of all ages. Dr. Tran provides braces, Invisalign, and early orthodontic treatment at Kids Dental Castle & Orthodontics in Pomona, serving patients in Pomona, Claremont, and surrounding communities.
With a strong commitment to excellence, Dr. Tran attended Dental School at New York University where he was the top student in his orthodontic honors program. He continued on to complete his Orthodontic Residency at New York University. He then attained his American Board of Orthodontics certification. Dr. Tran has also had his research published in numerous scientific journals.
Beyond the world of orthodontics, Dr. Tran enjoys giving back to his community, as a past recipient of the Presidents Volunteer Service Award. When Dr. Tran is not making smiles, he enjoys his time going to the beach, going to Disneyland, and swimming.
Dr. Sean Moghadam
Board-Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Sean Moghadam brings extensive oral surgery experience to Kids Dental Castle and Orthodontics in Pomona. His background includes wisdom teeth removal, advanced IV sedation, dental implants, bone grafting, and jaw surgery.
Dr. Moghadam graduated with honors from UCLA and completed a General Practice Residency at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center. He completed a surgical internship and served as a clinical instructor at The Ohio State University before completing his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
His specialized training supports the evaluation and removal of wisdom teeth, including impacted teeth. Families visiting our Pomona office can learn about their treatment options and discuss an individualized care plan based on the patient’s needs and clinical evaluation.
Dr. Charles Lee
Board Certified Dental Anesthesiologist
Dr. Charles Lee is excited to be serving Southern California, where he was also born and raised.
He found his calling in the dental field where he attended and graduated from dental school at Loma Linda University. Afterwards, he went on to serve in the US Army and was deployed in the Middle East. During his Expert Medical Field Training, his passion for anesthesia was realized. Following his honorable discharge from active duty, he attended and completed his postdoctoral anesthesia training at NYU. Following his training, he moved cross country back home to serve his community.
Dr. Lee is a proud and active member of the American Society of Dental Anesthesiologists and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife and kids, who are the best part of his life. Dr. Lee stays physically active and is an active part of the community, as well.
Dr. Albert Kang
Board Certified Dental Anesthesiologist
Dr. Kang was born in South Korea and is happy to call Southern California his home where he proudly serves.
He graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior with minors in Education and Business Management. His calling and passion led him to Loma Linda University, where he graduated from dental school and continued to study and excel in his postdoctoral training in anesthesia. Following his training, Dr. Kang moved and practiced in Texas for a few years before returning to California to serve his community.
Dr. Kang is an active member of the American Society of Dental Anesthesiologists and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
When he’s not taking care of patients, Dr. Kang is enjoying time with his wife and kids.
Dr. Ji Yoon Choi
Board Certified Dental Anesthesiologist
Dr. Choi was born and raised in South Korea and is happy to call Southern California home.
Dr. Choi graduated from a 7-year joint BA-DDS program of New York University. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and graduated Cum Laude. After completing dental school at NYU, she practiced for 1 year as a general dentist and then completed a GPR at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. It was in her GPR that she found her passion for dental anesthesiology. She continued her training at Wyckoff, where she learned and excelled in the field of anesthesiology.
Dr. Choi is an active member of the American Society of Dental Anesthesiologists and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
Moving to Southern California with her family is a dream come true. She is proud to call Southern California her home and serve her community.
Dr. Andrew Elmasri
Board Certified Anesthesiologist
Dr. Elmasri is proud to be providing in Southern California, where he was born and raised.
He graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. After realizing his calling, he attended Loma Linda University Dental School and graduated with honors in Anesthesia and Implantology. His passion for anesthesia was realized, and he attended and completed his postdoctoral training in Dental Anesthesia at Loma Linda University. He has been practicing in Southern California ever since.
Dr. Elmasri is dual-board certified and is proud member of the American Society of Dental Anesthesiologists, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and International Anesthesia Research Society. Outside of work, Dr. Elmasri enjoys spending time with his amazing wife and kids. He is also active in his local parish and his community. When he has free time, he also enjoys sports!
