From most of La Verne the simplest route is Garey Avenue straight south into north Pomona — it runs continuously down past Pomona Valley Hospital, and we're a block off it on San Bernardino Avenue. From the south end of town, Arrow Highway over to Garey; from the hillside, Foothill Boulevard or Bonita Avenue down to Garey. Off the 210, exit at Fairplex or Towne and head south. About ten minutes from Old Town La Verne, a little more from the University of La Verne side.
If you don't drive: Foothill Transit Line 291 runs the Garey Avenue corridor between La Verne and Pomona, stopping at Bonita High School on the La Verne end and Pomona Valley Hospital on ours. And the Metro A Line's La Verne/Fairplex station opened September 19, 2025 on Arrow Highway near Fairplex Drive, with Pomona North as the end of the line — La Verne has rail into Pomona now, which it didn't two years ago.
